How does your media product represent particular social groups?
This show shows the viewer that he is aware of the fact that he is being watched.
We decided to portray Andrew Mathews ( Finlay Mcgow ) as a student who can be stereotyped as a "loner", we expressed this by having the character alone in the shots, focusing on his research. We hinted at the future events such as paranoia by showing how he is also aware of all the camera's and his surroundings.
This show shows the viewer that he is aware of the fact that he is being watched.Characters such as Charles Bartowski from the tv show "Chuck" are the types of characters which Andrew Mathews could be compared to.
